ABCtales.com/GetEthical

Exploring New Markets , Marketing , Partnership Working
ABCtales.com/GetEthicalABCtales.com is a free reading and writing website designed to encourage literacy, self-expression and community building. GetEthical.com is an ethical shopping site and magazine. Both are run by Tony Cook who numbers amongst his major partners in these enterprises Gordon Roddick (of the Body Shop), John Bird (of The Big Issue), The Big Issue itself and Red Pepper magazine. The two companies share office space and are run in tandem, along with BigIssueLists.co.uk. They aim to expand The Big Issue's philosophy of 'a hand up not a hand out'. They are highly successful in terms of traffic generated. The social philosophy underlying these enterprises is clear in the agenda of the businesses. ABCtales operates an outreach programme to the socially marginalised in order to help them to tell their stories as well as organising regular live events. It empowers people by allowing them to release their creative energies into a warm and supportive community. GetEthical supports and advances the sustainable economy. It empowers those who wish to live in a 'better' world.

Social Enterprise Visits Updates

This mechanism was seen as a mutually rewarding link exchange, a true win-win situation as both websites would benefit from such a two-way Link exchange. Obviously a two-sided link exchange doesn't need to be a vote for any content on any website but just a marketing tool, in fact a SEO tool, a search engine optimizing tool.
